Three stone cottages set around a shared yard, ten minutes' walk uphill from the village. They were farm buildings until the 1990s, and the conversion kept the thick walls, the low doorways and the small deep-set windows — which means they're cool in summer, easy to heat in winter, and you should mind your head on the way into the kitchen in Cottage Two.
Each cottage is fully self-catering, with a wood-burning stove, a proper kitchen, and enough crockery for a large and disorganised family. Logs and kindling are left in the porch. There's no television in any of them, which the owners describe as deliberate and some guests describe as a problem.
The yard catches the evening sun. From the gate you can see the whole estuary.
